Revelation 2:5-7

Our study today, begins in Revelation 2:5-7 (KJV)  Remember therefore from where you are fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto you quickly, and will remove your candlestick out of his place, except you repent.   (Christ is the Source of the Light.  They are to come back to the Cross, or the Light will be removed.)    But this you have, that you hate the deeds of the Nicolaitanes, which I also hate.   (The word “Nicolaitanes” means “laity-conquerors”.  They are preachers who exploit the people instead of developing them spiritually.  Which all false doctrine does.)  (The Lord hates this.)   He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says unto the churches; To him who overcomes will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.  (The Christian can be a overcomer by placing his Faith in Christ and the Cross.)

My notes:

Preachers of today are lacking the True Light of the Gospel.  (Jesus Christ is the Light.) (And the Gospel is the Good News.)   The Light was than removed from their candlesticks due to walking away from their True Love of Christ.   They chose to adopt new ways of doctrine.  False doctrines turns face to man, believing that man contains all the answers.  Chosen a lie.   Instead of Truth.   The wicked shall walk the wide path which leads to destruction and ultimately death and damnation.   However,  should they Repent and turn from their evil ways;  And believe sound doctrine then Jesus Christ will once again restore them back as the true ministers of the Gospel.   Repent and come back to the Cross of Christ.

Come Into His Presence

Hello everyone,  I just want to start off with, that I am slow about updating my blog.  I do apologize for this.  Blogs should not be left unattended. Ever.    I found something I had written in 2015.   It’s not too long, but overall it’s a good reminder for all to come into His presence.

The Lord, Bless His Holy Name.   I praise Him with my heart and mind.  Without Him in my life I am nothing.   There would be no focus.   No future without His Love.

The Cross of Christ is my eternal hope.   My eternal joy.   Praise His Wonderful, Holy Name!   Praise Him from whom ALL Blessings flow!   Bless Him!   Come into His Presence with Thanksgiving, with you heart full of praise.

For He knows what you have need of…   even before you ask.   He is a Mighty All Knowing God.   For He Loves You!

Thank you, for visiting our blog.   Leave us a comment.

4:20 A.M.

Hello,  what should I post for today..  well, for those of you that have recently decided to follow our blog..  thank you.    We certainly appreciate it.  This blog has been left unattended for quite awhile.   I will say, last year… around October, I went in for surgery.   Actually having to go through 3 total.  Recovery time.  And now.. here I am… in the early morning hours… wondering to myself what do I write.

Throughout it all… I know my God was with me.   He always is.   He said, he would never leave me.

Speaking of Jesus Christ.    You are the God over all flesh, is there anything too hard for ME?    The Lord God wants to know…. IS there ANYTHING TOO HARD for ME???

When your ship runs up on the rocky shores, when you feel you are going to drown..  Jesus is walking on the water.   As long as Jesus is in your boat, you have nothing to worry about.    He is as close as a whisper.   Jesus.   Give Him all that you are facing.  He’ll not let you drown.

Bless you,  Mary ♥

By His Grace

It’s by His Grace that we are saved.   It’s by His Grace that we are healed.

Last year, I was going through a rough patch praying to the Lord, for my healing.   I didn’t seek him everyday, because I thought that if I quoted scriptures and prayed once in a while that He would surely hear me.   After all, isn’t the Lord supposed to know my needs even before I ask?    When I didn’t see results right away,  I wanted to know why.   This brought me to get out my Bible and my prayer journal, and read.    As I read some scriptures, the Lord led me to other scriptures having to do with what I was dealing with…  first and foremost he showed me that I needed to Trust Him.   Trusting Him, means letting go of the worry.   That’s a hard lesson to learn… not to worry.   Worry does no one any good.   Worry turns us to look inward at ourselves… like we have the power to get ourselves out of jams?   I don’t think so…  I am learning that I cannot do all things by myself.   This just leads to headaches, stomach aches, and other problems.   What I can do though is look to the Cross.   The Cross is not just a wooden beam,  I look to what Christ did for me, on the Cross.   He died for my sins.   He gave up his life to save mine!     Its in the Cross that we have Life.  Life everlasting.  Eternity with my God and Savior.     There is Healing in the Cross!     No matter what I’m dealing with,  I know that I can turn it all over to the Lord, for he cares for me.    Everything.    I needed to get my eyes off of me, and to look at the Cross.     It doesn’t matter what I’m going through.   Just turn it over to Jesus.        “Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.”    Jeremiah 33:6   KJV        Keeping my eyes on the Lord, this shows Trust in the Lord and what He has done on the Cross.

Blessings, Mary

Worry or Pray?

Devotional for May 6, 2017.     We probably pray before meals,  and for the coming day of work, or school.    I think, anyone would agree that praying is important.    When a need arises, whether its to pay bills, or to seek employment, no matter the crises.    It’s important to give the need over to the Lord.    I know,  sometimes I will pray about it, give it to the Lord… then after a few minutes, there I am “worrying”.     Why do I worry so much?    Do I think I can “control” what goes on in my life, by thinking it over and over again?    The answer should be no.   I can’t control what goes on in my life.      But I can give the control over to the LORD.   For He is able to do so much more than I could ever do.     Here are some scriptures to help, the next time you feel like worrying.      II Corinthians 5:7 says: ” For we walk by faith, not by sight.”     It’s by faith that we must come to the Lord, for this is pleasing to Him.    He doesn’t want you to come, with doubt.    Give that old doubt and disbelief to the Lord.    For He cares for you.     In Philippians 4:6-7 it says: “Be careful for nothing (don’t worry about anything); but in everything by prayer and supplication (presents the cure for worry, which is believing prayer) with thanksgiving (thanking God for all He has done for us in the past, and what He is doing at the present, and what He will do the future)  let your requests be made known unto God.   (This just means to turn everything over to God, whether its material, physical, or spiritual.)   And the Peace of God which passes all understanding, (beyond human comprehension), shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.  (What Christ did at the Cross).     Give it all over to the Lord.  Let Him have control in every situation.     In Matthew 6:28 it says:  “And why do you take thought for raiment (clothes)?   Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin ( the man grows the flax [toil] the woman weaves it [spins]; the statement is meant to proclaim the fact that the beauty of the lily has nothing to do with its effort, but is given completely by the Creator)…”     Often times when I’m praying and waiting for the Lord to give an answer,  He will lead me to read this scripture found in Matthew 6:27- “Which of you by taking thought (worrying and fretting) can add one cubit unto his stature?  (Whatever is going to happen cannot be stopped by worry; and if it doesn’t happen, there’s nothing to worry about.  For His Children, the Lord always fills in the bottom line.)    It’s better to Pray than worry.

It’s my prayer that the Lord will touch you today.

It’s All About You

Jesus, Jesus, Can you hear me now?..  I feel like I’ve been so far away..  I’ve been taking on the cares of this ol’ world.. and its got me down, and I feel like I’m gonna drown~    Instead of me, it’s about you, its about you.

Have I been blind, that I don’t look behind,  its plain to see it’s all about me… don’t I care for mankind…or is it all about me?    I want to see where you’re taking me but I’ve been too stubborn to see,  O Lord,  its all about you,  not about me.

Not spending time with you, O Lord, but in front of my TV..  I need to worship you Lord,..  so, what’s wrong with me,  I ask now Lord, what’s wrong with me?    I’ve been caught up with the world,.. and I’ve been too blind to see ~

In church you see me warming a pew and singing praises as I watch the time;  I can’t believe its true… I’ve been thinking about me and not about you.   I wanted to love the way you wanted me to.. but Lord.. it’s about me and not about you.

It’s all about me, not about you –  I go through each day without a care – I watch the news,  see death and destruction everywhere,   How did the world get in this shape Lord?   What can I do?     I know Lord, it’s not about me, it’s about you.    Help me, Lord to care again   Help me, Lord to offer love where I can  after all, it’s all about you,  it’s all about you.

Oh, Lord, forgive me..  I’m so ashamed.   Oh, LORD, it’s all about YOU.

This song is about something I am sensing in my spirit.   This song doesn’t just represent me.   I’ve been aware of what goes on in churches over the years.  I see even in our own church, masses of youth, mainly teenagers, allowed to “play” & “chat” with their friends via phones.. texting one another while the minister is preaching.   Church (the sanctuary) isn’t a place to “play” .. it’s a place to worship the Lord God Almighty.      It is my hearts desire to see the youth be involved in every aspect of the church.    Church just isn’t raising money for mission trips;  it’s about serving people, about sharing love, its about sharing the Gospel.

Devotional – Revelation 1:18

Devotional for May 3, 2017

Our study today is based on Revelation 1:18.

I am He Who lives, and was dead; and, behold I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.   (He Alone determines who will enter death and hell, and who will not.)       This verse is revealing God the great High Priest (Jesus Christ the Lord).   He paid the ultimate price for sins.   He will never die again.   Death has been totally defeated.

This also tell me that “peter” is not the rock that Christ builds his church, as stated by the Roman Catholic Church.    Their belief is that peter holds the keys to heaven and hell.  (That “peter” which they refer to as the pope, the vicar of Christ here on earth).     Lets look at what Matthew 16:18 says:  And I say also unto you,  that you are Peter ( the Lord changed his name from Simon to Peter, which means “a fragment of a rock”),  and upon this rock (immovable mass; Jesus is the Living Rock on which the Redeemed as living stones are built; for other foundation can no man lay),  I will build My Church (The Church belongs to Christ, and He is the Head);  and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it.

The pope is just a man.  If the pope were to be the representative of Christ on earth, then he would need to be the one to have sacrificed his life for the sins of the people.    Just think for a moment – if that were the case, would the pope have gone to the Cross to sacrifice his mortal life for all?   No.  Because he was not ever the “Rock”.   Only Jesus Christ is the ROCK!    Jesus Christ had the Power, Fountain and Source of Life.   Death has no power over Jesus Christ.   Hell has no power.   The grave couldn’t keep Him down.   And Jesus Christ is the Son of God.    He needs no representation of Himself here on earth.  He is the Source of Life.   He gave His Life.   He shed His Blood as a Sacrifice for all sins.   He was and is the Perfect Lamb.    For one to place their trust in the pope is to trust solely in man.    Man is made up of dust.   Man is subjected to die once.  And cannot come back to life and live forever more.   The pope is fallible.   He holds no power to save, or to determine  who goes to Heaven or to Hell.

Jesus Christ is the Alpha and the Omega – the First and the Last.   Christ is all in all –  He is all you need.    Amen!
