My Promises

My Promises

He is there,  He is there,   waiting with arms open wide,  he is there.    No matter what you are going through – He is there.

Jesus loves his children,  He loves you so,  he is waiting with arms open wide,  he is there for you.      No matter what the day holds,  he is by your side – no matter what you’re facing – he is by your side.

There’s nothing he will not do – for those who love him so –

He is there to take the pain away,  He is by your side.   He will calm the troubled waters – He will set you free.    Jesus loves you so.

Thank you, Jesus.

Keep Praying

It’s easy to pay bills and get food on the table when there’s money in the bank.   But what happens when a medical emergency arises?   Maybe it’s a spouse losing a job.   Where do you turn in a crisis?     What does the Word of God say to do?     Pray.    Here are some verses of Scripture to help in the time of trouble.      Ephesians 6:18- Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit – what does this mean?   To continue to “pray incessantly” pleading until the prayer is answered.    The verse goes on to say – And watching thereunto with all perseverance (meaning don’t stop) and supplication (requests) for all Saints (Saints praying for other Saints).

Think praying is too dull or a chore?   Some might say it is.   But what is better – turning to strong drink?   When has drinking ever solved anything?    One could turn to the world thinking there would be some kind of hope.    But the world cannot offer any hope.    Hope can only be found in the Bible.   God’s Word.     If you’re a Believer in the Word of God; then your focus should not be in the world.   The focus should always be in the Cross of Christ.    Let’s look into another verse of Scripture.   Philippians 4:6-7-  Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.   And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.  “Cast all your cares upon Him; for he careth for you.”  – I Peter 5:7.

Sometimes we may feel down or like no ones cares.   Have you ever felt this way?    Here are some Scriptures to think about.   Psalm 27:14- “Wait on the LORD; be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say on the LORD.”     And  Psalm 55:22- Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee.    Joel 3:10 – Let the weak say, I am strong.

The Lord loves you.
